The Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shattima has today (Sunday) led a Federal government’s delegation to condole with Kano state government, over the death of an elder statesman, Alhaji Abubakar Imam Galadanchi who passed away recently.

On arrival, the Vice President was received by Governor Engr,. Abba Kabir Yusuf and his Deputy Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo along with Commissioners and other top government functionaries at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.

At the Kano residence of the Emir of Bichi, vice President Shettima described the death of the elder statesman, and an illustrious son of the state as a loss that created a wide vacuum difficult to be filled.

“I am in Kano to convey the heartfelt condolences of His Excellency President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the huge loss of late Abubakar Galadanchi and I pray to Almighty Allah to grant his soul an eternal rest and give the family and people of the state the fortitude to bear the loss” prayed Shattima.

He called on the family members of the deceased to unite themselves and work as a team as they cannot not achieve progress when they are divided, urging them further to continue to sustain the legacies left behind by late Galadanchi for prosperous life.

The Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero who is one of the deceased’s Son In-law, expressed appreciation to the the Vice President who led the Federal government’s delegation to condole and pacify the family of the deceased and people of the state over the loss, hoping that Nigerians will witness positive changes under Tinubu’ s government.

Sen. Shettima was also at the residence of the deceased to condole with his families.
